This senior session felt like the perfect little Carteret County dream!!!
🤍She’s a senior at Croatan High School, and one of my favorite things about her session was that she completely trusted me with the locations. She basically said, “You pick!” And y’all… that is music to a photographer’s ears. 😍 So we built her entire session around a handful of spots I love—and the crazy part? Every single one was within about a mile of each other.
We went from beautiful natural backdrops to coastal Carteret County looks, finding little pockets along the way that gave us completely different images without spending half of her session driving from place to place. That’s one of the things I LOVE showing my seniors: you do not need five locations spread all over the county to get a gallery with tons of variety.
Give me one great area and let me get creative. 📸
Different light. Different backgrounds. A quick outfit change. Walk a few feet in another direction. Suddenly it looks like we went somewhere completely different.
That’s exactly what happened with this session, and I seriously don’t know how she is going to choose favorites!
One of my favorite parts of photographing seniors right here in Carteret County is knowing all those little spots that might not look like much when you drive past them—but through my camera, they can be MAGIC. ✨
